USDA: Biodiesel imports up in March The U.S. exported 29,252 metric tons of biodiesel and biodiesel blends of B30 and higher in March, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on May 4. Biodiesel imports for the month reached 105,175.1 metric tons. READ MORE SHARE
	EIA: US biofuels capacity at 21.123 billion gallons in February Total operable biofuels production capacity for ethanol, biodiesel, renewable diesel and related fuels expanded to 21.123 billion gallons per year in February, according to the EIA. World Energy wins $2 million California Energy Commission grant World Energy on May 2 announced that the California Energy Commission awarded the company a $2 million grant for its Blending Terminal Project in Paramount, California. CVR’s Wynnewood refinery begins renewable diesel production CVR Energy Inc. on May 2 announced it has successfully completed conversion and startup of the renewable diesel unit at its Wynnewood refinery in Oklahoma. Marathon provides update on Martinez conversion project Marathon Petroleum Corp. released first quarter financial results on May 3, providing an update on its agreement with Neste to form a joint venture for the renewable diesel project under development at its Martinez refinery in California.
