USDA distributes $700M in COVID-19 aid for biofuel producers The USDA on June 3 announced it has distributed a combined $700 million in COVID-19 aid to 195 biofuel production facilities. 	USDA: US biodiesel exports up in April The U.S. exported 70,214.1 metric tons of biodiesel and biodiesel blends of B30 and greater during April, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on June 7. Pacific Biodiesel opens off-grid biodiesel fueling station The first of six mobile biodiesel fueling stations in Hawai‘i opened on June 3 at Ma‘alaea Small Boat Harbor on Maui. Pacific Biodiesel installed and will operate the off-grid fueling station at the busy harbor. READ MORE SHARE

REG stockholders approve agreement to be acquired by Chevron Renewable Energy Group Inc.'s stockholders on May 17 voted to adopt the previously announced definitive agreement in which REG will be acquired by Chevron Corp. The transaction is expected to close in mid-2022. READ MORE SHARE
EIA: US biofuels capacity down in March, feedstock use up Total operable U.S. biofuels production capacity fell by approximately 101 million gallons in March, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on May 31. Iowa reduces emissions from snow removal with B100 fueled trucks The Iowa DOT is committing to a lower carbon footprint in its state fleet by operating 10 snow removal and road maintenance trucks with Optimus Technologies’ advanced fuel system technology, powered by 100 percent biodiesel (B100).
