October 2, 2006

Advanced BioEnergy LLC announced a proposed 100 MMgy ethanol plant to be built near Northfield, Minn., approximately 45 miles south of its new headquarters in Minneapolis. Advanced BioEnergy anticipates construction to begin in late summer 2007, but the date is subject to state and local approval. If authorized, the facility is expected to consume 36 million bushels of corn annually and create 50 jobs in the community. Currently, Advanced BioEnergy is building an ethanol plant in Nebraska and developing another project in Indiana.
