AOCS conducts feedstock quality tests

The American Oil Chemists' Society is conducting a biodiesel feedstock quality test series as part of its proficiency program to assist plant laboratories in achieving and maintaining peak staff and equipment performances. Approximately 20 laboratories are participating in the testing. In exchange for an enrollment fee, the AOCS will conduct analyses from lab samples to determine each lab's proficiency at measuring common aspects of feedstock quality. Results are expected to be returned to the labs in February.
