Bill Lee named chairman of RFA Board of Directors

The Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) held its annual meeting Oct. 2 and elected Bill Lee of Chippewa Valley Ethanol Co. (CVEC) Chairman of the Board for the 2003-‘04 fiscal year.
The RFA board of directors, consisting of 30 representatives of member ethanol plants, voted on the position. In addition, Ron Miller of Aventine Renewable Energy Inc. was named vice chairman, Nate Kimpel of New Energy Corp. became treasurer and Jeff Broin of Broin Companies was named secretary. Bob Dinneen remains president.
"This is an exciting time in the industry," Lee told EPM. "We certainly see a lot of growth in the volume and diversity of our members."
Lee replaced Gary Smith of Abengoa Bioenergy Corp., who was elected chairman of the Renewable Fuels Foundation, the educational arm of the RFA.
