The Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition has announced that Castle Rock Renewable Fuels has become a member of the coalition.
The Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition is a diverse group of businesses, environmental, statewide groups, as well as local organizations that are building public and legislative awareness of ethanol issues in Wisconsin.
Castle Rock, which opened in February, operates a 50 MMgy ethanol production facility in Necedah, Wisc. It currently employs 37 people in rural Juneau County, Wisc.
"We're excited to be Wisconsin's newest ethanol plant, and we're proud to be providing good paying jobs for our community and an environmentally-friendly, renewable fuel source to Wisconsin," said Bernie Hoffman, general manager of Castle Rock. "We look forward to working with the Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition to get the word about the positive benefits of ethanol for Wisconsin and our country as a whole."
