A new Web site designed to give users access to information about alternative fuels and advanced transportation technologies launched in early August. The site,
www.cleantransportation.org, is operated by the North Carolina Solar Center's Clean Transportation program at North Carolina State University.
The site is hosted by N.C. State's College of Engineering and is managed on campus.
According to an N.C. State press release, the site features news items related to alternative fuel and advanced transportation technologies in North Carolina, an upcoming events section, fact sheets about renewable energy sources, and will "serve as a clearing house for funding opportunities available to business, government and non-profit projects that reduce transportation related emissions."
