W.J. Will Duensing has announced he will retire from Cereal Process Technologies on March 13. Since 2007, Duensing has served as president and chief executive officer of CPT, the leading provider of corn dry fractionation technology to the ethanol industry. Robert Giguere, president of Iowa Corn Processors in Glidden, Iowa, has been selected by CPT's board of directors to succeed Duensing as president and CEO.
"Will guided CPT through an important period in building our company," said Giguere. "Under Will's leadership, we have achieved significant technology performance improvements that better serve our customers at lower capital and operating costs. Our technology has proven itself in one of the country's largest ethanol plants for boosting margins and assuring sustainability."
Duensing has published multiple articles focused on corn milling and corn chemistry. Before joining CPT, he served as director of quality assurance and technical services in the milling division at Bunge North America.
