Frost & Sullivan: European biodiesel future looks bleak

According to a London-based Frost & Sullivan information briefing held in February, Europe's biodiesel feedstock availability won't be able to meet the 5.75 percent European Union blending targets. The briefing provided biodiesel producers, agricultural producers, technology providers and oil companies a detailed overview of the European biodiesel market. According to Robert Outram, Frost & Sullivan industry analyst and specialty chemicals specialist, all the European vegetable oil would have to be used to meet the target.
