Glacial Lakes Energy LLC, a 52 MMgy ethanol plant in Watertown, S.D., has promoted Chad Brenden from production manager to plant manager. Prior to joining Glacial Lakes Energy in 2002, he was employed by Fagen Inc. during construction in Watertown.
Terry Fleming has joined Glacial Lakes Energy as maintenance manager. He was employed by Minnesota Rubber in Watertown for 20 years, most recently as maintenance and safety manager.
James Seurer, a licensed certified public accountant, has been hired as CFO. He joins Glacial Lakes Energy after serving as CFO of South Dakota Soybean Processors LLC and Minnesota Soybean Processors Inc., soybean crushing entities with revenues totaling more than $450 million.
Tom Heilman joined Glacial Lakes Energy as distillers sales manager. Specializing in beef and dairy, his extensive background in nutrition is expected to be an asset to Rising Star Feeds, Glacial Lakes' trademarked distillers grains coproduct. He was employed as an outside sales representative for Hubbard Feeds Inc. since 1998.
