Indiana legislation puts RFS under the microscope

Indiana legislators passed a bill requiring the state Environmental Quality Service Council to study the most effective way of implementing the federal renewable fuels standard (RFS), according to Jennifer Stevens, press secretary for state Rep. and bill author Steve Heim. The council is also to examine the feasibility of requiring vehicles sold in the state to be flexible fuel vehicles. Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels signed the bill into law March 22
