Michigan invests $25,000 in ethanol pumps

October 26, 2006

Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm announced that the state set a goal to have 1,000 ethanol and biodiesel pumps in place by 2008 in an effort to make biofuels more accessible to motorists, according to a press release. To reach this goal, a $25,000 grant program has been implemented to help stations install or convert existing pumps to provide fuels like E85 and B20. This is the second in a series of grants that Michigan is offering to promote the use of alternative fuels.
