Neste Oil renewable diesel blends now available in Lithuania

Neste Oil announced Oct. 8 that its Neste Pro Diesel containing NExBTL renewable diesel—previously only available in Finland—is now for sale in the Lithuanian market, distributed through the company’s local retail network and its 51 stations. The fuel blend contains a minimum of 15 percent renewable diesel.
“The Baltic region, and the Baltic countries in particular, is a key market area for Neste Oil,” said Panu Kopra, Neste Oil’s vice president of the Baltic Rim. “Our strategic goal is to be the preferred partner for cleaner fuels across the region, and extending the distribution of Neste Pro Diesel to Lithuania is very much in line with this.”
Neste Pro Diesel is produced at the company’s Porvoo refinery in Finland. The company says it’s the first fuel to comply with the WWFC 5 specification drawn up as part of the Worldwide Fuel Charter.

“Bringing Neste Pro Diesel to Lithuania is an important step for us and will further strengthen our position as the quality leader on the local market,” Kopra added.

Neste has partnered with Coleman Oil Company, a leading provider of fuels, biofuels, lubricants, and related products, to enable cities and businesses to have easier access to Neste MY Renewable Diesel in the state of Washington in the U.S.
