RFA celebrates 25 years as "Voice of the Ethanol Industry"

July 1, 2006

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the RFA. Prior to the Renewable Fuels Summit held in late April in Washington, D.C., the RFA hosted a reception for its members and friends to honor the commitment they have made to making renewable fuels a success.
The RFA recognized member companies that were original members of the association: Archer Daniels Midland Co., New Energy Corporation and Aventine Renewable Energy. Former chairmen and presidents of the organization were also honored. Past RFA president Dave Hallburg, and past chairmen Paul Burke and Gary Smith attended the reception, among many others.

"Without the leadership of those who have been involved with the RFA over the years, our industry would not be standing where we are today," Dinneen said. "We certainly appreciate the efforts and support of our many friends and look forward to the next 25 years of the U.S. ethanol industry."
