U.S. law firm hires renewable fuels expert

The U.S. business law firm of Stoel Rives LLP, has announced its increasing the strength of its renewable energy practice with the addition of Graham Noyes, a leader in the biofuels industry, to its Seattle team.

Stoel Rives specializes in the practice of renewable energy development and for more than 20 years has represented many of the major developers of wind, biofuels, biomass, geothermal, solar and wave energy projects in the United States, Canada and abroad.

Noyes previously led sales and business development for Imperium Renewables Inc., a leading national provider of biodiesel and operator of the largest biodiesel facility in the U.S. Noyes also serves as secretary of the Governing Board of the National Biodiesel Board.

"I sought out Stoel Rives because of the firm's forward-thinking practice on renewable energy and cutting-edge experience in biofuels," Noyes said. Noyes, who received a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of California, Davis, is a member of the Order of the Coif and is an active member of the California Bar Association. He is also pursuing admission to the District of Columbia and Washington Bars as well.
