World Biofuels Symposium-China

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, from one of America's leading biofuels states, will be the keynote speaker at the 2005 World Biofuels Symposium-China. The purpose of the symposium is to exchange technological advancements and policy options to help grow the biofuels industry in a country that is currently the second largest consumer and importer of fossil fuels. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit one of the world's largest ethanol plants, Jilin Fuel Alcohol Co. Ltd. The Chinese have requested participation in the symposium by foreign engineering firms and technical experts in order to quickly move the industry forward. The renowned Tsinghau University, the state of Minnesota and BBI International have partnered to organize a highly productive symposium and promote international trade opportunities.
