The 2015 Collective Biodiesel Conference starts in about two weeks, and registrants who sign up before Aug. 21 can get a discounted, all-access pass for $125.
This year’s CBC, Aug. 27-30, will be held in Crestone, Colorado, at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in South-Central Colorado, and it is co-located with the 26th Annual Crestone Energy Fair, themed “One World, Many Technologies.”
The all-access pass includes conference presentations, demonstrations, exhibitions, the home tour, music events, a field trip to a canola oilseed biodiesel production facility, hydroelectric off-grid resort, solar farm, Colorado Gator Farm and more.

For lodging, Crestone has a few downtown hotels within walking distance to all event venues, a national forest campground within a mile and several bed and breakfasts, all a short drive or bike ride away. Free camping is also available.
All meals are included in the conference price and will be catered with local food ingredients with all diets accommodated.
Crestone is located approximately 3.5 hours from Denver and 4.5 hours from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The U.S. EPA on Aug. 21 released data indicating nearly 2.04 billion RINs were generated under the RFS in August, up from 1.84 billion generated in August 2022. Total RIN generation for the first eight months of the year reached nearly 15.45 billion.

President Joe Biden on Sept. 9 joined leaders of India, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Mauritius and the United Arab Emirates to launch the Global Biofuels Alliance. The launch took place on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in New Delhi.
