National Biodiesel Board adds 4 new members

Four companies have recently become new members of the National Biodiesel Board, the 25-year-old U.S. trade association representing biodiesel’s entire value chain.

Renewable energy consulting firm EcoEngineers provides expertise in auditing and compliance management. The company offers a robust Quality Assurance Program and is a U.S. EPA-approved auditor and Q-RIN verifier to the international biofuel community.

For half a century, petroleum and chemical transportation company Eagle Transport has been growing. In 1969, the company started with four trucks and today the Rocky Mount, North Carolina-based firm owns more than 500 power units with 23 terminals located throughout the eastern U.S., from Delaware to Florida, and as far west as Nashville, Tennessee.

Commodity merchandising company WWS Trading is family owned and operated. For more than 25 years, the company has bought and sold fats, oils and proteins, meeting its goal to deliver competitively priced products with superior service.

All-Line Equipment manufactures a fully automated line of blending equipment named the Bio Blender, creating biodiesel blends on the fly as diesel fuel is drawn from storage tanks. The Bio Blender is suitable for use at retail locations and bulk fueling facilities.

“NBB’s primary goal has always been to advance the biodiesel industry, and one of the many ways we achieve that is by connecting our members to one another,” said Brad Shimmens, director of operations and membership. “We help bridge the gap between biodiesel producers, feedstock suppliers, equipment manufacturers and more, providing new opportunities for business while helping the industry to reach new heights.”
