Biodiesel equipment scheduled for online auction ending Aug. 18
Maas Companies will auction surplus biodiesel process equipment Aug. 18 via a timed online auction. The equipment is located at 6683 Cow Creek in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Maas Companies specializes in the liquidation of specialized assets including ethanol and biodiesel plants and equipment nationwide.
Green Gallons Solutions of Bonners Ferry plant opened in 2011 and produced quantities from 1,000 to 4,000 gallons of ATSM spec B100 biodiesel per day from used vegetable oil recovered from the manufacturing, processing, and retail sectors of the food industry. It sold B20 up to B100 biodiesel to local buyers and Canadian fuel brokers. The equipment is now surplus and needs to be sold.
The process equipment is being sold as one lot to be moved and a Peterbilt Vacuum Tank and 10,000 Gallon Dual Wall Horizontal Carbon Steel Tank will be sold piecemeal, also to be moved.
Potential buyers are encouraged to attend the open houses July 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and other times by appointment.
