Springboard webinar to cover benefits of small-scale production
Springboard Biodiesel is offering a free webinar on Earth Day, April 22, titled, “The Many Benefits of Small-Scale Biodiesel Production.”
“Increasingly, biodiesel is being incorporated into the U.S. (and global) transportation fleet, and individuals and organizations are realizing both the environmental and economic benefits of biodiesel,” stated Springboard Biodiesel. “Still, information on the topic is limited and misinformation continues to get passed on. This webinar will strive to clearly present factual information on relevant topics.” The webinar will include information on what biodiesel is and how it’s made; identifying myths and popular misinformation; cost analysis for biodiesel production and usage; case studies; emissions comparisons; equipment options; and strategies for production.
The company stated attendees should include college, university and high school administrators involved in sustainability efforts; restaurateurs with more than one restaurant; members of the hospitality industry seeking to increase profits while greening their businesses; farmers wanting to manage their fuel sources better and save money on yearly fuel costs; and individuals that have access to used cooking oil or other feedstocks and want to make low-cost biodiesel.
Springboard Biodiesel’s webinar on the benefits of small-scale biodiesel production will start at 11 a.m. Pacific Standard Time April 22. To register, click here.
