AOCS to release biodiesel CD-ROM

The American Oil Chemists' Society (AOCS) is preparing to release a CD-ROM titled "Focus on Biodiesel" in early 2007. According to AOCS Senior Director of Product Development Jodey Schonfeld, the medium is a virtual library of biodiesel knowledge and is part of the organization's Professional Development series. "It's a compendium of information," Schonfeld told Biodiesel Magazine. The most up-to-date technical information, including standards, properties and more, is detailed. "It gives a historic, full picture of how things developed in this industry," Schonfeld said. The CD-ROM costs about $49 for nonmembers.
