Biodiesel president leads ATA

The president of Integrity Biofuels, a 5 MMgy biodiesel plant in Morristown, Ind., is the new chairman of the American Trucking Association. Charles "Shorty" Whittington is also president of Grammer Industries in Grammer, Ind., a trucking company that specializes in transporting liquid and hazardous materials throughout the eastern half of the United States. Shortly before Whittington's appointment Oct. 7, the ATA published its biodiesel policy, which calls for federally enforced biodiesel quality standards. He said the ATA's policy won't change with him as chairman.
