The U.S. Department of Energy has announced it will hold a live webinar titled “Integrating Bioenergy into the 9th-12th Grade Classroom,” on Dec. 10.
According to the DOE, the webinar is part of the BioenergizeME Office Hours webinar series. It is designed to support high school educators and administrators in planning activities for their classrooms that integrate bioenergy topics with the life sciences, physical sciences, earth and space sciences, and engineering and technology. The webinar will also provide information and assistance to advisors interested in participating in the 2016 BioenergizeME Infographic Challenge.
The 45-minute event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 EST.

The U.S. Department of Energy Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) announced up to $23 million in funding to support research and development (R&D) of domestic chemicals and fuels from biomass and waste resources.
