The B20 Club, a partnership between the Illinois Soybean Association and American Lung Association, has expanded its membership with four additional organizations that support B20 biodiesel as a low-carbon fuel solution for Illinois communities.
Cepsa is now supplying SAF in the Canary Islands. The company has made SAF permanently available at the North Tenerife and Gran Canaria airports, and will expand this availability to the archipelago’s other main airports.
The U.K.’s National Oceanography Centre is trialing the use of a fossil-free marine diesel to fuel the Royal Research Ships (RRS) James Cook and Discovery. The trial is funded by the U.K.’s Natural Environment Research Council.
NORDEN and BHP have entered into a lower CO2 emission biofuel arrangement for approximately 1,000 metric tons of 100% biofuel (B100) to be used on a voyage from Hay Point, Australia to Rotterdam, Netherlands on the Capesize vessel NORD Steel.
The International Air Transport Association has announced it will create the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Matchmaker to link airlines and SAF suppliers. The initiative is expected to launch during the first quarter of 2025.
