Kentucky funds biodiesel plant

Louisville Clean Energy LLC has received $250,000 in investment capital from the state of Kentucky to build a 10 MMgy biodiesel plant at one of the company's proposed locations, either in Henry County or Shelby County, Ky. The company plans to use yellow grease as a biodiesel feedstock, and also include an anaerobic digester and ethanol plant on-site to produce ethanol and electricity, as well.
