NC fuel station to mark reopening with discounted biodiesel blend

Crown Express Mart in Apex, N.C., is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 15 to celebrate its grand reopening and new fuel offering, B20 biodiesel. The event will feature expert speakers and demonstrations. Guests include Lyle Estill, vice president of Piedmont Biofuels, who will bring a 2014 Chevy Cruz, a clean diesel vehicle for display and discussion; and emcee Anne Tazewell, the Clean Transportation Program manager at the North Carolina Solar Center.

B20 will be sold for $3.20/gallon during the event, a significant reduction compared to market price.

The celebration will be held Thursday, Aug. 15, from noon to 1 pm at 314 East William Street in Apex, N.C.
