Taking place in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Sept. 23-25 at the Hilton Hotel, the OnSite Energy Conference & Trade Show gathers stakeholders of the solar, wind, biomass, algae, anaerobic digestion and biofuels industries in a strategic two-day event designed to carve a path forward for clean energy on a micro level. The conference will contain comprehensive presentations from 20-plus industry experts, who will present and discuss the latest onsite energy technologies, successful projects and new ideas that will inspire and help companies and communities take charge of their own energy future.

“We are excited to be delivering OnSite Energy’s content to Brisbane,” said John Hocken, Owner of Waste2 Power. “To date, Australia’s focus has primarily been on large renewable energy projects that often have difficulty getting funded and take years to develop. OnSite Energy brings renewable energy production from the macro level to the micro level and creates a stronger economy, a cleaner environment and greater energy security for Australia.”

The agenda, which is now available online, is focused on those charged with the task of helping ensure the business, industry or community they are responsible for is doing its part to be energy sustainable, environmentally responsible and cost competitive. The agenda highlights the latest micro energy technologies, address public policy opportunities and work towards creating a path forward for more aggressive OnSite Energy initiatives.

The scheduled keynote speakers include: Hon Minister McArdle Qld., Minister of Energy & Water, Terry Effeney, CEO of Energex and Ian McLeod, chief executive of Ergon Energy.

About OnSite Energy Pty Ltd.

OnSite Energy is a program designed to help bring energy independence down to the level of community, business and industry by establishing small independent clean, alternative energy production facilities on site. By doing so, it not only reduces expenditures for energy, but helps Australia become more energy independent as a country. This effort can save millions of dollars a year in energy costs for Australian communities and businesses and reduce the amount of environmentally harmful fossil-based energy, with clean, domestically produced, renewable energy.
