Ethanol Producer Magazine announced this week the preliminary agenda for the 2024 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo (FEW) taking place June 10-12, 2024 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This year’s agenda includes three co-located events: Biodiesel Summit: Sustainable Aviation Fuel & Renewable Diesel and Carbon Capture & Storage Summit, along with the annual pre-conference event, Ethanol 101.
“We're continuing the expansion of presentation themes beyond ethanol production and product diversification to include discussions on carbon capture and storage, biodiesel, renewable diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel production," says John Nelson, vice president of operations, sales and marketing at BBI International. "We will provide presentations on the new technologies impacting the industry, while also continuing our tradition of providing newcomers with foundational knowledge through Ethanol 101, scheduled for Monday, June 10th."

Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited has officially announced the adoption of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) on its commercial flights, reinforcing Thailand’s green aviation industry. The initiative took effect starting July 1, 2025.
Avalon Energy Group LLC and Sulzer Chemtech have signed a strategic alliance and partnership agreement to scale up the production of SAF. Under the agreement, Avalon has selected BioFlux technology for its portfolio of SAF projects.
