The Chemical Catalysis for Bioenergy Consortium, a consortium of the U.S. DOE’s Bioenergy Technologies Office, has launched an effort that aims to gather community input on the development of new biomass processing facilities.

Neste has entered a cooperation with Suntory, ENEOS and Mitsubishi Corp. to enable the production of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) resin made with renewable Neste RE on a commercial scale. Neste RE is made from 100 percent biobased materials.
