RFA, Growth Energy and ACE to discuss ethanol policy at the FEW

The 2013 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo (FEW), the ethanol industry's largest and longest-running conference, has announced the speakers for the conference’s general session roundtable, taking place the morning of June 11 at the America’s Center in St. Louis, Mo.
The top executive officers of the Renewable Fuels Association, Growth Energy and the American Coalition for Ethanol are scheduled to present vital information and summer policy updates on safeguarding the renewable fuel standard (RFS), correcting misinformation about renewable identification numbers (RINs), building the market for E15 and mid-level blends, and maintaining our national commitment to commercializing advanced and cellulosic ethanol.
“We are pleased to have an opportunity to bring the three most important organizations driving ethanol policy together on one stage,” said Tom Bryan, president of BBI International. “Not only will the information be extremely insightful for attendees of the FEW, but it will also help the industry better understand where the market is heading into 2014, in turn allowing businesses to make more informed decisions as they relate to the ethanol industry.”

Speaking and representing their organizations are Bob Dinneen, president and CEO of the RFA; Tom Buis, CEO of Growth Energy; and Brian Jennings, executive vice president of ACE.
Immediately following the policy discussion is another highly informative general session panel focusing on cellulosic ethanol and the companies that have pioneered cellulosic production around the globe. Representatives from Dong Energy Power, INEOS Bio, DuPont Industrial Biosciences, Abengoa Bioenergy and Poet-DSM Advanced Biofuels will be on stage to provide insight on construction and commissioning progress, as well as commercial -scale production goals for 2013 and beyond.
The 29th annual FEW will be held June 10-13 in St. Louis, Mo. The event is expected to draw more than 2,000 attendees and will include national and international ethanol producers, investors, industry suppliers and policymakers. During the course of the event, more than 140 speakers will discuss issues categorized into four tracks:
