Show Us Your Stuff

May 15, 2015

BY Anna Simet

Although it’s not even June, we’re soon to begin work on the August issue of Biomass Magazine, which is our Equipment Issue.

Sounds broad, yes, but our goal with this edition is to bring to light industry innovations or relatively unknowns—whether it’s a new spark detection gadget, improvements to or repurposing of existing equipment, a machine not yet on the market, or a large square baler that transforms into Optimus Prime, come tell us about it.

I should add that we’re also open to products less equipmentlike and more softwarelike.

As a reminder, products may geared toward one, two or all of the sectors we cover—power, pellets, biogas/landfill gas, thermal and advanced biofuels (and it is extremely helpful if you have product images that you can share with us).

Not only do we want to help you showcase your offerings, but are looking for the scoop on related stories such as how manufacturers are responding to market and consumer demand, purchasing trends, market competition…all of it.

Some examples of articles we’ve done in the past:

*A review of different pellet presses on the market and how manufacturers are keeping pace with demands.

*A discussion of commercially available biogas upgrading technologies.

* A feature focused on some of the feedstock-sizing equipment on the market and how manufacturers are responding to customer feedback.

*A mix-up of all kinds of technology/equipment useful to the biogas industry, whether it be for electricity, pipeline quality or compressed natural gas producers.

If you’re not a manufacturer or product provider and more of a potential customer, now is the time to let us know what you would like to see featured or discussed in the Equipment Issue. We are writing for you, so drop me a line by early next week at asimet@bbiinternational.com.
