An auction will be held mid-June that includes the selling of a 3 MMgy biodiesel plant and equipment, and other related items. Maas Companies Inc. will be holding the auction June 15 at 10 a.m. at the former SunPower Biodiesel LLC site in Cumberland, Wisconsin.
Processing equipment to be auctioned includes a Greenline Industries CF Series modular biodiesel processing line, three 20,000-gallon feedstock tanks, two 20,000-gallon B100 biodiesel tanks, two 12,500-gallon methanol/methylate tanks, two 12,500-gallon glycerin tanks, three 6,500-gallon settling tanks, ion exchange wash towers and a nitrogen tank. In addition, a degumming module, a 3,000-gallon batching tower and Eaton filter units are also part of the equipment package.
Also being sold are two oilseed processing facilities, a 171,000-bushel grain handling facility, two retail fuel stations and more.
Real estate and equipment tracts will be auctioned first, followed by piecemeal equipment.

Valero Energy Corp. on July 24 released second quarter results, reporting a profitable three-month period for its ethanol segment. The renewable diesel segment posted a loss, but the company’s new sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) unit operated well.
The IRS on July 21 published a notice announcing the 2025 calendar-year inflation adjustment factor for the Section 45Z clen fuel production credit. The resulting adjustment boosts maximum the value of the credit by approximately 6%.
