Technip awarded project in France

Diester Industries, a French pioneer in biodiesel production, has contracted Technip Inc. to engineer and build a turnkey facility in Montoir-de-Bratagne, France. Technip, a Paris-based oil and gas company with an array of petrochemical engineering and construction services, has already built one biodiesel plant in Rouen, France, and is currently carrying out the construction of two others in Sete and Compegnie, France. The Diester facility will use sunflower and rapeseed oils as feedstocks, and is expected to produce 75 MMgy.
