A report filed with the USDA FAS Global Agricultural Information Network discusses how China’s domestic biobased-diesel industry has been impacted by the European Union’s provisional antidumping duties on biodiesel and renewable diesel.
Brazilian biodiesel production is expected to increase 18% this year, according to a report filed with the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service’s Global Agricultural Information Network on Aug. 31. Consumption is also forecast to be up 18%.
Legislation introduced in the California State Assembly on Sept. 11 aims to prevent the California Air Resources Board from amending the state’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard regulations prior to Jan. 1, 2026.
The U.S. exported 88,432.8 metric tons of biodiesel and biodiesel blends of B30 and greater in July, according to data released by the USDA FAS on Sept. 4. U.S. biodiesel imports were at 86,483 metric tons for the month.
Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Kansas City, the country’s two largest rail carriers, on Aug. 26 resumed operations after the Canadian Industrial Relations Board took action over the weekend to end a work stoppage that began Aug. 22.
