The successful XBX Exploring Biodiesel regional seminar series that kicked off last year is back, with five free workshops in five different cities, starting March 21 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and wrapping up in Long Beach, California, this June.

As a service of the National Biodiesel Board in concert with a multitude of sponsors, the XBX seminars are geared toward suppliers and end-users of diesel fuel, including fleets, universities, hospitals, corporate sustainability leaders, municipalities and others interested in the operational, environmental and cost benefits of biodiesel.

The sessions are designed to appeal to those who are interested in the long game of learning how biodiesel—a market-ready, carbon-neutral fuel—can empower their organizations as state and federal carbon reduction policies take effect over the next several decades.

Among the topics to be covered are an overview of the national supply chain; diesel fuel and OEM developments; a biodiesel industry update; biodiesel end-use applications and operability information; mandates and incentives; state carbon reduction policies, goals and deadlines; gasoline industry trends; and biodiesel marketing opportunities.

The dates and locations for the five upcoming events are March 21 in Grand Rapids, Michigan; March 28 in Indianapolis, Indiana; May 20 in Hershey, Pennsylvania; May 30 in East Greenwich, Rhode Island; and a June date yet to be determined in Long Beach, California.
