The 2018 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo, the ethanol industry's largest conference, has released its highly anticipated agenda featuring more than 150 speakers and four comprehensive tracks. Taking place June 11-13 in Omaha, Nebraska, the FEW provides the global ethanol industry with cutting-edge content and unparalleled networking opportunities in a dynamic business-to-business environment. Now in its 34^th year the FEW is the largest, longest running ethanol conference in the world—and the only event produced exclusively by Ethanol Producer Magazine.

“This year’s agenda covers highly anticipated innovations and efficiencies currently being developed for ethanol production,” said Tim Portz, program director at BBI International. “We had a large amount of abstracts submitted this year and the agenda committee did an outstanding job of rating presentation abstracts and bringing the brightest biofuels minds together under one roof for this event.”

This year’s FEW in Omaha is expected to draw 2,000-plus attendees, including ethanol producers, industry suppliers, service providers and researchers from around the world. “This year’s expo hall has already surpassed the size of last year’s expo hall,” said John Nelson, director of marketing at BBI International. “The level of excitement seems to be very high and attendees will get to see firsthand the latest technologies and services helping advance the ethanol industry.”

 

During the course of the event speakers will discuss issues categorized into four tracks:

Track 3: Coproducts and Product Diversification
Track 4: Infrastructure and Market Development

Like last year, the Advanced Biofuels Conference is collocated with the FEW, making this one of the largest gatherings of biofuels producers, professionals and presenters in the past decade. The advanced biofuels event will feature the world of advanced biofuels­­--cellulosic ethanol from corn fiber, biodiesel, carbon reduction strategies, bolt-on technologies, RIN markets and more.
