BY BBI International

BBI International has announced the National Advanced Biofuels Conference & Expo. The event will take place June 20-23, 2016 at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This year, the National Advanced Biofuels Conference & Expo is colocated with the world’s largest ethanol conference, the 32nd annual International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo. The event will feature the world of advanced biofuels and biobased chemicals—technology scale-up, project finance, policy, national markets and more—with a core focus on the industrial, petroleum and agribusiness alliances defining the national advanced biofuels industry.

The National Advanced Biofuels Conference & Expo is tailored for industry professionals engaged in producing, developing and deploying advanced biofuels including cellulosic ethanol, biodiesel, biobased platform chemicals, polymers and other renewable molecules that have the potential to meet or exceed the performance of petroleum-derived products.

Attendees will include hundreds of professionals in key sectors including finance (venture, private and institutional equity); petroleum and petrochemical refining; pulp and paper milling; biofuels and biobased products manufacturing; agricultural processing; waste management; auto manufacturing; aviation; government/military; research and academia.

“We are excited that this year's agenda will include added emphasis on biodiesel production,” says John Nelson, marketing and sales director at BBI International. “With an additional focus on biodiesel, the event provides attendees with an unparalleled opportunity to connect and learn with other biofuels industry leaders.”

The two events will share an expo and a general session, as well as refreshment breaks and receptions. Access to both conferences is granted with a single registration

"Hosting the International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo and the National Advanced Biofuels Conference & Expo together, under one roof will create the single largest “all things” biofuels event anywhere in the world in 2016,” says Tim Portz, vice president of content for BBI International. “Anyone participating in this industry in any way needs to be in Milwaukee in June."
