Effective July 1, or as contracts allow, Evonik Corp. will increase list and off list prices for all concentrations of sodium methylate solution in North America.
Evonik is one of the world’s largest producers of sodium methylate solution, which is used as a catalyst in the production of biodiesel. It is also used in the life science and polymer market segments.
Evonik has three production plants globally: Mobile, Ala., Niederkassel-Lulsdorf, Germany, and Puerto General San Martin, Argentina.
