Rayeman Elements Inc., a company specializing in dryer systems and densification of distillers dried grains from fuel alcohol plants, is expanding its business into biodiesel co-location at ethanol refineries.
Sedgwick, Kansas-based WB Technologies obtained integration patents for co-locating biodiesel production at ethanol plants. When those patents subsequently went up for sale, Rayeman Elements acquired them, President Samantha Western told Biodiesel Magazine.
“Rayeman Elements holds the patents for the integration of biodiesel production with ethanol facilities,” Western said. “Our company has spent a considerable about of time and resources to secure these patents and assure the imminent success of biodiesel production into the future.”
The company has created a biofuels division to provide the patented technology for enzymatic biodiesel production at ethanol facilities. As a part of the new business approach, Rayeman Elements selected Saola Energy LLC to provide engineering and design for the biodiesel technology. Saola Energy’s Chief Operating Officer Adam Belyamani has experience with the integration techniques covered in the patents.
