Biodiesel consumption in the Philippines is expected to expand by 31 percent in 2022, according to a report filed with the USDA FASA's Global Agricultural Information Network. The increase is primarily due to a projected movement from B2 to B5.

On Aug. 11, IRFA launched a new statewide On-Farm Biodiesel Credit program to give back to farmers dedicated to using biodiesel. Farmers who are buying a biodiesel blend can receive up to 50 cents per gallon for using higher blends of biodiesel.
