EIA: Nearly all US renewable diesel is consumed in California

California accounts for nearly all renewable diesel consumption in the United States, but most of it isn't made in the state. More than eight times the renewable diesel was consumed in California than was produced there in 2021.
Optimus Technologies announced on July 7 that the California Air Resources Board recently issued a new executive order permitting the use of it's Vector System and B100 in on-road diesel engines through the 2023 model year.
North American SAF Conference & Expo announces agenda

SAF Magazine and the Commercial Aviation Alternative Fuels Initiative (CAAFI) announced the preliminary agenda for the North American SAF Conference & Expo taking place Aug. 29-30 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Last year, U.S. West Coast distillate consumption, as measured by product supplied, was at its lowest since 2002 and is on track to fall further this year. The growing use of biofuels instead of petroleum diesel is the primary cause for the decline.
