New York City begins transition to renewable diesel in marine sector

New York's DCAS has awarded its first tender to buy renewable diesel for its ferries. The tender is part of a plan announced in October 2024 to transition the Staten Island Ferry and other vessels to renewable diesel.

PBF Energy reports increased renewable diesel production

PBF Energy Inc. on Feb. 13 announced that its St. Bernard Renewables facility produced 17,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel during the fourth quarter, up from 13,000 barrels per day during the third quarter.
