UC Santa Cruz chemists have discovered a new way to produce biodiesel from waste oil that both simplifies the process and requires relatively mild heat. The method converts approximately 85% of used vegetable oil into biodiesel.
Hamilton Oshawa Port Authority has announced two projects that will increase biofuel access in the Great Lakes. One project will create a new 8-million-liter biofuel terminal in Ontario, the other will increase biofuel storage capacity.
