May is Renewable Fuels Month in Nebraska. Since 2006, the acting Nebraska governor has dedicated one month out of each year to recognize the importance of renewable biofuels, such as ethanol and biodiesel.
Climate legislation recently introduced in the Illinois General Assembly aims to, in part, establish a minimum biodiesel standard of B20 for diesel fuel sold in the state. The Illinois Soybean Association has spoken out in support bill's B20 mandate.

Ethanol Producer Magazine has announced the preliminary agenda for the 2021 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo (FEW) taking place July 13-15, 2021 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
